About Togg

Togg is Turkey's national electric vehicle initiative, founded in 2018 as a public-private consortium to establish a homegrown automotive industry centered around electrification, digital mobility, and national technological sovereignty. The company brings together major Turkish industrial groups—including Anadolu Group, BMC, K?raça Holding, Turkcell, and Zorlu Holding—with the vision of transforming Turkey from an automotive manufacturing hub for foreign brands into a producer of its own advanced EVs. Togg's formation symbolizes the country's ambition to leapfrog legacy technologies and position itself as a regional innovation leader in smart mobility.

Togg's first model, the T10X SUV, debuted in 2022 and became the first mass-produced electric vehicle designed, engineered, and built entirely in Turkey. Developed in collaboration with design firm Pininfarina, the T10X features a clean, aerodynamic design inspired by Anatolian cultural motifs, combining modern elegance with national identity. Built on Togg's modular electric architecture, the vehicle supports both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations, long-range battery options, and advanced digital connectivity features. Battery systems are engineered through a joint venture with China's Farasis Energy, which established a battery manufacturing facility in Gemlik to supply Togg's growing lineup.

Togg's production complex in Gemlik, near Bursa, represents a showcase for Turkey's industrial modernization—a fully digitalized, carbon-neutral facility integrating smart logistics, renewable power, and robotic assembly. The plant supports a planned annual capacity of 175,000 vehicles, with future models including a sedan, compact crossover, and MPV expected to join the lineup through 2030. Togg's vertically integrated approach—combining domestic R&D, design, battery production, and final assembly—aims to establish Turkey as a regional EV manufacturing and export hub bridging Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Beyond electrification, Togg is positioning itself as a digital mobility ecosystem provider rather than a conventional automaker. The company's "Use-Case Mobility" platform integrates smart charging, IoT connectivity, blockchain-based user identity, and cloud-enabled services that allow continuous feature upgrades via OTA (over-the-air) updates. This ecosystem is designed to connect vehicles, homes, and cities within a broader digital infrastructure supported by Turkcell's 5G networks. Togg's vision aligns with Turkey's broader technological agenda—advancing national self-reliance in high-value industries while embracing global standards in sustainability, innovation, and intelligent mobility.
