About Skyworth

Skyworth Auto, also known as Skywell New Energy, is a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Nanjing and backed by consumer electronics giant Skyworth Group. Originally part of Skywell Bus, the brand was restructured to focus on passenger EVs, combining automotive engineering with smart home and IoT integration.

The company's lineup includes models such as the Skyworth EV6, HT-i (a plug-in hybrid), and smaller crossover derivatives. The EV6, its flagship SUV, offers a 72 to 88 kWh battery pack with up to 600 kilometers of range (CLTC), efficient heat pump systems, and Level 2+ driver assistance. The interior emphasizes comfort and connectivity, with Skyworth's proprietary Skylink smart cockpit, 12.8-inch touchscreen, and integration with Skyworth's home appliances and smart TVs.

Skyworth positions itself as a "smart mobility ecosystem provider" rather than a traditional automaker, offering cloud connectivity and OTA updates across its fleet. Its vehicles are exported to Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, reflecting China's expanding global EV reach.

Electrification Status

Skyworth Auto is a pure-play EV manufacturer with full in-house electric development and software integration.
