About Peugeot

Peugeot is a French automobile manufacturer headquartered in Paris and a core brand of the Stellantis Group. Founded in 1810, it is one of the oldest and most storied automakers in the world, known for its balance of design, practicality, and driving refinement. Today, Peugeot stands at the forefront of Stellantis's global electrification strategy, combining elegant French design with advanced EV technology across both passenger and commercial segments. The company has committed to becoming a fully electric brand in Europe by 2030.

Peugeot's electrification journey began with plug-in hybrids and early BEVs based on shared Stellantis architectures. The first mainstream electric models included the e-208 hatchback and e-2008 compact SUV, both launched in 2019 on the eCMP platform. Each model features a 50 kWh battery, a 100 kW front motor, and up to 400 kilometers of range (WLTP). In 2024, Peugeot introduced updated versions of both vehicles with a 54 kWh battery and improved efficiency, bringing real-world range close to 420 kilometers.

Building on this foundation, Peugeot has expanded its BEV range to include the E-308 hatchback and E-308 SW estate, the E-3008 midsize SUV, and the larger E-5008 family crossover. The new E-3008, launched in late 2024, is the first vehicle built on Stellantis's advanced STLA Medium platform, which supports ranges up to 700 kilometers (WLTP) and 800-volt fast charging. It offers single and dual-motor configurations delivering up to 240 kW (320 hp), blending dynamic performance with exceptional efficiency. The upcoming E-5008 will share the same platform, offering seven-seat versatility for families seeking zero-emission mobility.

Peugeot's electric design language- defined by its distinctive "claw" LED lighting and geometric surfaces- has evolved to express modernity, confidence, and sustainability. Interiors feature the brand's signature i-Cockpit layout, combining a compact steering wheel, high-mounted digital cluster, and large central touchscreen for intuitive control. The brand's latest infotainment system, i-Connect Advanced, integrates over-the-air updates, voice assistance, and smartphone mirroring for connected, user-friendly experiences.

Beyond passenger vehicles, Peugeot plays a leading role in electrifying Stellantis's commercial vehicle lineup through its Pro One division. Electric vans such as the E-Partner, E-Expert, and E-Boxer deliver zero-emission solutions for business fleets across Europe, with payloads and performance on par with diesel equivalents. Hydrogen fuel-cell variants are also under development for select professional applications.

Peugeot's roadmap toward full electrification includes next-generation BEVs on all three Stellantis platforms- STLA Small, STLA Medium, and STLA Large- enabling ranges between 500 and 800 kilometers and charging speeds up to 270 kW. This transition is supported by Stellantis's European gigafactory network through Automotive Cells Company (ACC) and partnerships with CATL and Samsung SDI.

Electrification Status

Peugeot is a transitioning automaker in the advanced stages of electrification. With popular BEVs like the e-208, e-2008, and the next-generation E-3008 already on the market- and a fully electric portfolio targeted for 2030- Peugeot is uniting French design, efficiency, and innovation to deliver accessible, stylish, and sustainable electric mobility across Europe and global markets.
